Overview
Located on Belleville St. across from the Victoria Ferry Terminal with spectacular views of the Inner Harbour, this hotel sits in a prime location near to museums, restaurants and a variety of attractions. Popular with guests seeking to explore the area, it offers easy access by ferry, bus and on foot.

All 71 smoke-free guest rooms include free Wi-Fi, bottled water, a 37-inch flat screen TV, a coffeemaker, a tea kettle, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a safe, robes and umbrella, a hair dryer and an iron and an ironing board. Rooms are furnished with queen, king or double beds. Rooms offering full kitchens are also available. (This hotel does not have air conditioning.)

Pets are welcome at this hotel for $15/day. There is free parking available on site which includes space for oversize vehicles.

Belleville's Diner is located on the water and is open for breakfast (offered until 2 pm), lunch and dinner daily. The hotel's lounge Belleville's Premium Quality Watering Hole is open for lunch and dinner daily.

On-site amenities include an elevator, a heated outdoor pool open seasonally from 10 am to 10 pm daily, and a covered outdoor jacuzzi that is open year round during the same hours; guest laundry, dry cleaning and a 24-hour front desk.

Guests will find a number of attractions within an easy walk: Pacific Undersea Gardens is a 2-minute walk, the Royal British Columbia Museum is a 5-minute walk and Miniature World is 8 minutes away on foot.  BC Whale Tours and the BC Maritime Museum can both be accessed in 12 minutes on foot. The downtown Victoria area is slightly farther away, about a 17-minute walk or 13 minutes by bus. 

Butchart Gardens, a world-class attraction, is about a 30-minute drive away. Guests travelling by air should budget about 35 minutes to travel the 26.8km between the hotel and Victoria International Airport (YYJ) (distances and driving time estimates: Google Maps).

The Good
Guests of this hotel were impressed with the convenience of its central location and praised several elements that were on site, including some amenities and the rooms.

Guests appreciated the ability to walk to access a number of Victoria's tourist attractions. They were also pleased to be able to leave their cars in the complimentary hotel parking so that they could explore the city easily by foot. Guests also commented on the views of the harbour from many of the rooms in the hotel.

Staff received favourable comments from many guests, who used words like responsive, friendly and welcoming to describe them.

The rooms were very clean, according to a number of guests. One guest said, "loved that there was no carpet in the rooms. It was very clean."

There were some additional comments on things like the quality of the food in the restaurant and comfy beds. A few guests also enjoyed using the pool.

While most comments used for this analysis were favourable for this hotel, there were a few common complaints, including some issues in the rooms themselves.

Some guests felt that the rooms were small, and there was particular mention of the bathrooms and the showers. A few guests also said that the decor and the furniture in the rooms was aging and needed updating.

A few guests found their rooms hot and stuffy, and were disappointed that there was no A/C available.

There were some peripheral comments, centring on things like spotty Wi-Fi connections and noise from slamming doors inside the hotel.
