Although there were a few isolated complaints about the rooms not being clean or daily maid service not being effective, many guests felt the rooms were clean. Guests also appreciated that some rooms were updated and had comfortable beds.
The staff were complimented by many guests for being very friendly. Some also mentioned that they were informative and helpful.
Several of the hotel amenities were appreciated by some guests. Guests mentioned that the pool was clean and enjoyable, the on-site restaurants were convenient, with good food and service and the fitness centre was newer and well-maintained.
The Bad
Although many reviews used for this analysis were positive, some negative comments focused on noise and the age of the hotel.
Some guests were disturbed by noise from the on-site sports bar, particularly on nights when there was live music.
Many guests noted that the hotel was older but well-maintained, suggesting that the exterior, the pool area, the elevator and the TVs should be updated in order to give it a more modern appearance. As of 2012, the hotel was undergoing renovations with some rooms completed and the exterior is in progress.
