The Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre is located in the heart of Vancouver's financial and business district making it popular with business travellers. Nearby restaurants and shopping make it a good choice for leisure travellers as well.

The hotel's 733 rooms include deluxe rooms, Club Level rooms and 1- or 2-bedroom penthouse suites. Every guest room in this 100% smoke-free hotel is equipped with a 32” LCD TV with cable and pay-per-view movies, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, an in-room safe and free Wi-Fi. A faster Wi-Fi connection can be purchased for $18.95 per day. In-room fridges may be available upon request, although they cannot be guaranteed. Pets are allowed for $35 per night.

Club Level rooms include a free high-speed Wi-Fi upgrade, upgraded bathroom amenities, complimentary bottled water, and complimentary local and toll-free calls. Club Level also includes access to the Club Lounge, which offers a complimentary breakfast, evening hors d’oeuvres, snacks and beverages throughout the day and complimentary newspapers.

The building has over 15,000 sq. ft. of meeting space available, and there is a private Club Level Boardroom available by request. Self and valet parking are available at $40.66 and $44.72 per day respectively. There is a restaurant and a bar on site: Café One and Bar One. Other on-site amenities include a fitness centre, a pool, a hot tub and a sauna. The on-site Vida Wellness Spa offers facial and body treatments at an additional cost.

Within a 5- to 10-minute walk of the hotel are Robson Square Ice Rink, Robson Street shopping area, Scotiabank Movie Theatre, Vancouver Art Gallery, Davie Street Market and Yaletown, which is host to many restaurants and bars. Granville Island and its public market are a 10-minute drive or 20-minute walk from the hotel. The Good
The guest reviews consulted for this analysis were generally very positive and focused on the hotel's staff, views, rooms and location.

The staff were well represented in many guest reviews. They were said to be friendly, courteous, and excellent at suggesting places to eat and things to see and do.

The views from the rooms were commonly praised. Some rooms had a view of the mountains, while others had a city view, however it didn't seem to matter to guests which view they had – both were said to be beautiful.

A large number of guests said they were impressed with the rooms – large, clean and comfortable. The beds also received high praise, some saying it was the best sleep they’ve ever had, and one reviewer said "the hotel is clean and the beds are to die for."

The location of the hotel was praised frequently. One reviewer said that “this hotel is very conveniently situated for all amenities, shopping, public transport, information, restaurants and cruise liners.”

Many guest reviewers recommended the upgrade to Club Level as they said it was worth the extra cost due to the free food and drinks offered throughout the day.

The Bad
Although the majority of reviews used for this analysis were positive, there were some negative comments among them about expensive parking and high-speed Wi-Fi, traffic noise and inadequate bathroom amenities.

At $40.66 per day for self-parking, many guests complained that the parking was too expensive. While Wi-Fi is free, many reviewers complained about the slow speed and thought that $18.95/day to upgrade was too high.

Many reviewers complained about traffic noises from the street below. The hotel is across from a hospital, and some said they could hear ambulance sirens throughout the night. Some guests suggested booking a room on a higher floor to escape the noise.

The lack of amenities in the bathrooms was a frequent complaint in the reviews used for this analysis. They said there were few bathroom supplies, no shower caps, and wine glasses had been replaced with plastic cups, which some guests thought was inappropriate for a higher-class hotel.

Many guests in the South Tower said the rooms were in need of renovations. Comparing it to the North Tower, one guest said, “the South Tower was okay but a little dreary by comparison.”

While a lot of reviewers said the rooms were large and spacious, there were some complaints that the rooms were too small – the bathroom could fit only one person at a time, the in-room safe was hard to access, and some said that although they requested queen beds they received doubles.
