The Bad
While many guests described positive experiences at this hotel, there were a few common complaints and a few guests who indicated that they would not stay at this property again.
Several reviewers were disturbed in their rooms by noise. Some guests described hearing loud music from a neighbouring nightclub and found the music to be particularly disruptive on weekends. A few reviewers complained that patrons of the nearby nightclub created noise on the street that could be heard in the guest rooms and a couple of other guests said that they were disturbed by sounds from neighbouring rooms.
A few guests described their rooms as small or cramped. One reviewer thought that there were not enough electrical outlets available in the room for charging his electronic devices.
A few guests said that they felt unsafe in the neighbourhood immediately surrounding the hotel at night. One reviewer said that she avoided walking to the hotel at night and she described the neighbourhood as "scary". Another guest said, "I would not recommend staying here because of the area". One reviewer, who was more specific, said "within 100m there are 2 sex shops spilling their wares over the pavement and a few unsavoury tattoo parlours".
