The Good
Guests reported pleasant stays at this hotel.

Guests liked the rooms. They were well cleaned and well-equipped, with mini-fridges and in-room safes and some with microwaves and tea kettles. Guests also enjoyed having laminate floors, attractive décor, comfy beds and updated bathrooms. Guests found good views from their rooms.

The location was convenient and quiet. Guests found public transit, shops, a convenience store, drugstore and restaurants in walking distance. Some found it an easy walk to the sea wall and harbour area.

On-site dining was well liked. Guests mentioned the reasonable prices and good burgers, salads and flat breads of White Spot Restaurant, (a BC favourite). One guest felt the food and service were comparable to the expensive harbour restaurants and another had received 15% off the restaurant as a hotel guest.

Guests usually liked the staff. They were described as pleasant and helpful with information, in holding luggage for guests and allowing an early check-in and late check-out.

The hotel was good value. Guests found this hotel very reasonably priced for downtown Vancouver, and some found it a good place to overnight before a cruise. Guests often said they would return.

The Bad
Recent guests of this hotel seemed very satisfied overall, but there was a little negative feedback and some nitpicks found in recent online reviews.

One guest wished for an included breakfast, as dining out for breakfast nearby was expensive. (Another reviewer recommended Breka Bakery for breakfast.)

Some guests found their rooms a little small and wished the windows could have opened.

Noise disturbances were mentioned from: the main street in front of the hotel, the ice machine, a noisy AC unit, and guests in the hallways or through the doorways of interconnecting rooms.

Occasionally guests felt the downtown area was a little depressed, with homeless people.
