"Views were good from the balcony, The restaurant at the top with the rotating view was worth the stay at this average hotel. Very nice breakfast/brunch, expensive but well worth the magnificent view."

"Don't forget to check out the Cloud 9 Lounge at sunset. It takes about an hour to make a complete rotation and you'll get to see the city, mountains, and water in daylight and darkness...you might feel alittle motion sick for a few minutes, but it passes."

Robert from Calgary, AB CA stayed on July 18, 2005
"This hotel could use some work. The carpets on the 14th floor need to be streched at the very least. In general the whole place could use cosmetic work and freshing up. The front desk staff was helpful, professional and polite. Your convenience charge for the in-room telephone use are too high at a dollar per call. One of the calls made was to the front desk for a package of coffee. The coffee was no charge (thank you) but the call was a dollar. I also found that parking charges were unnecessary. Kind of like holding you up at gun point. Where else can my vehicle be parked?
Anyway, I found that on short notice (on which my trip was made)that your services were adequate. Given more lead time to a future travel date, I would choose another venue. Prices in Vancouver are for the most part outrageous in real estate terms, but in when it comes to travel value this hotel is lacking."

"paying for parking at the hotel is frustrating as are $1 charges for every local call made.Front desk reception was never eager to help or even look up from what they were doing. It seemed as though they were doing us a favour by helping us out."

"I would recommend this hotel for the location and value for money. The front desk staff were also very helpful in storing our luggage and providing detailed tourist information. I did not try the restaurant or use the pool etc, so I have no comments on those facilities. My only negative comment is that the bed covers were very small for double beds. I would stay there again, though."

Harris from Portland, OR US stayed on November 30, 2003
"The parking garage gates frequesntly didn't recognize our parking passes. The pillows caused a sleepless night for both of us. For some odd reason, the minibar was locked.
Everyone was nice, and the staff were efficient. Still a good value for where it's located (and how expensive the other hotels around it are)."

"I did recommend it already -- to my brother.
My only complaint -- a very common one -- is that when meetings are held in adjacent rooms the noise that comes through can be very distracting."
