"Clean and good value"
"The room was not fancy but it was quiet, clean and comfortable, and the hotel had free parking. It was not centrally located but it was within 20 minutes of downtown. We were given an extra blanket when we asked for it. I would recommend it to someone who wants a modestly-priced room."

"Poor service received at Day Inn"
"Service was very poor specially the General Manager was very rude to me as customer. I booked the suite 4 weeks before my arrival, got to the hotel around 12 o'clock PM, staff said the room was not ready, told them to give me another room because I was so tired I need to rest, the GM stepped in and told me that my request is the ridiculous thing he has ever heard. I have told him that I drove from Calgary to Vancouver I need to rest he has said he can not help me."

"The bathroom was small and a bit cramped...the tv stand was too close to the bathroom door when you enter ot exit...other than that...it was just ok"

"They spend alot of time making sure that the out side is very clean and inviting, but could do more in the rooms, it would seem that a little more attantion could be spent their. Simple things like shampoo amd face clothes where missing. When we asked for them we still where short on the face cloth.
The beds and funature seemed clean, but the carpet and floors could have been given a little more time.
We chose to not take part in the breakfast as their was not a place to sit, the dinning area was to small for the amount of people that where their."

"Felt misled by info on the internet; such as, "Close to cruise pier", "With baggege, transportation provided to pier" "several restaurants within walking distance" McDonald's is not what one chooses when thinking about dinner. As women & seniors, we were diasppointed to have no evevator to 2nd floor room. A porter did help, howerver."
