"need to have a better way to deal with international calls -- my husband rang often and got music for ages; also I only got phone advice he had called 24 hours later and never a note under the door. Nevertheless, once the foyer etc are fixed and the cafe brightened up (bit dark) it'll be great"

"Great location! Great staff! We had a one bedroom suite for less than the cost of a regular room ... and it was within walking distance of Robson St. and Pacific Center mall. As a single mom with 4 teenage boys, I couldn't have asked for more...lots of room, a low price, a kitchen (the boys did the dishes), a pool, and a staff who felt sorry for me and gave me extra coffee!"

"We attemted to use the bed chesterfield and it was a disaster. Would have just settled for using couch but no extra blankets available. The bathroom sink didn't plug which was annoying to my aunt as she had wanted a quick sponge before we left for hospital where she was having surgery. Could have had a waste basket in sitting area, used one from kitchen area.
Otherwise very comfortable and clean and service good. Our stay was very short as we had to leave for hospital at 6:15 and I just returned to check out. We chose hotel for it's location relative to St. Paul's. We dined in the hotel cafe, service great, food great and prices very reasonable."

"The room was very expansive and comfortable and very clean, but the kitchen was not equipped with utensils, you had to ring to obtain these, which I did but waited quite a long time. Coffee and tea was supplied only once and again (as nice touch)a little bottle of fresh milk in the fridge would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Christine"

"For the price and a supposedly 4 star hotel it felt like a dump, it smells bad, the rugs were stained, the cover on the bed was coming apart, the bath tub was stained, I could not take a bath without flip flops on, the halls are tight, dark and scary, and the parking and access to parking felt like that of a horror movie, I was scared, grossed out. IT WAS HORRIBLE, don't waist your money, you'll be better off sleeping in the car."

The innovative and contemporary lobby of the Century Plaza Hotel and Spa reflects the modernization of this landmark in the centre of Vancouver. From the trendy lobby to the kitchen-equipped suites in the hotel, the Century Plaza provides guests with a home-away-from-home. Families and business travelers appreciate the oversized guestrooms and extra furnishings provided in the separate seating areas. Located in the heart of downtown the hotel offers the complete Vancouver experience to all. The central location on Burrard Street is walking distance to Robson Street?s shopping and dining, Yaletown?s trendy boutiques and English Bay?s beaches. The Century Plaza is at the center of everything Vancouver has to offer.
The Century Plaza Hotel is in itself in a destination experience. A guest may never find it necessary to leave the premises. The hotel is a hotspot in Vancouver including a European-style spa famous with locals and visiting celebrities with its chemical-free indoor pool and eucalyptus steam rooms. The Beyond Restaurant and Lounge is located in the far end of the lobby, offering Breakfast, Lunch and On-site entertainment is available in the hotel?s own comedy club. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas for a surcharge.
beyond restaurant and lounge, A 300 seat, restaurant that mixes the elegance of Las Vegas with the sleek, urban panache of LA or New York. The open-viewing concept allows diners to follow the drama of a busy kitchen. The restaurant flirts with the edges of the Pacific Rim, taking as its heart the local flavours of the earth, sun and sea of British Columbia. The menu circumnavigates the Pacific pulling in the simple food trends of Australia, with a strong nod to the inventive healthy spa style of eating for which BC has become famous. Hints of Asia and India drift subtly across fish and fowl, while heartland Canada is not overlooked as the kitchen is farm-supplied with a strong focus on organic and seasonal.
