The Good
Guests generally felt that this hotel was a decent place to sleep, with everything offered as distinctly average.

The location was likely the best feature, right on the highway and easy to find. It was a short drive, or easy walk, to the mall for groceries, ice cream, dining and shopping. One guest liked that there was a Boston Pizza a block away and another said he enjoyed the new microbrewery next door.

Denny's was on hand and guests typically appreciated getting breakfast there. They found it convenient and affordable.

Rooms were described as clean and quiet, with comfortable beds and really nice complimentary soap and toiletries. Some found updated rooms with modern duvet bedding, but this was not in all the rooms it seems. Those who had mini-fridges and microwaves appreciated them.

Guests who commented on the pool usually liked this facility and thought it was well maintained and clean.

Wi-Fi averaged out as good overall in the surveys, although some said terrible and some said excellent.

The Bad
Guests who were not that comfortable at this hotel usually complained about the small rooms and bathrooms, the dated condition of their rooms and areas that were worn or dirty.

Several guests found rooms that were a little too tight for comfort. They complained of tiny and awkward bathrooms and showers, and even king bed rooms that had no extra space for sitting other than one office chair. Others pointed to dark rooms that smelled of mildew or smoke, with dated wallpaper, plus stained carpets and blankets. One guest deemed the rooms functional but unattractive, and several guests seemed to agree when they spoke of the dark green and maroon polyester bedspreads.

Some were displeased with the job that housekeeping did. They found areas in the corners and behind tables that had not been vacuumed in a long while and one guest complained of a bathtub that was caked with soap scum. A couple of guests were uncertain, when they saw crumpled sheets, if the rooms had been serviced.

Front desk staff were usually described as pleasant, but some guests found them to often be away from the front desk on smoke breaks, with a somewhat casual demeanor. Several guests were unhappy that there was no elevator at the hotel and that the staff did not help with luggage.

One guest said the fitness room suffered neglect and needed a new set of free weights (as some were missing).

A couple of guests found noise disturbances, one from the room above the restaurant and another guest just said the first floor was noisier.
