Although there were a few isolated complaints that the housekeeping was sub par, many guests felt the rooms were clean. Some mentioned that they were spacious and had comfortable beds. Guests also appreciated the inclusion of a fridge and microwave in every room.
The customer service was a highlight for many guests. Staff were complimented for being very welcoming and attentive. Guests noted that problems and requests were promptly attended to and that the staff were very accommodating.
Many guests appreciated that the hotel was close to several shops and restaurants. It was felt that the location was central and provided easy access to both Surrey and Langley.
The Bad
Although most reviews used for this analysis were positive, some negative points focused on the age of the hotel and noise.
Some guests felt that certain aspects of the hotel could use updating. The linens (particularly the hotel's use of bedspreads), towels, TVs, the decor, the fitness centre and the exterior of building were all mentioned to be in need of upgrading.
A few guests were disturbed by noise from the highway, particularly when they had a window open. It was suggested by some to request a room on the side of the building that faces away from the road.
