The hotel is located next to a busy intersection and a SkyTrain station. Some guests felt the area was very busy with a lot of traffic and "suspicious characters". A few were disturbed by the sound of traffic during the night as well as noise from the SkyTrain. Some felt uneasy about leaving parked cars, stating that there seemed to be a lot of loiters in the area.
