Many guests felt the rooms were clean and well-furnished. Although a few noted that some rooms were small, most agreed that they were comfortable with good quality beds. The inclusion of a fridge and microwave was appreciated by some.
The staff were complimented by many guests for being friendly and helpful. A few guests felt that the staff went above and beyond to make for an enjoyable stay.
Many guests appreciated the location of the hotel because of its proximity to key transportation hubs like BC Ferries Tsawwassen Terminal and Vancouver International Airport. The short distance to Peace Arch Border Crossing was also a big reason that some chose the hotel. Guests also noted that the hotel was within walking distance of many shops and restaurants and that it offered easy access to White Rock and surrounding beaches.
The Bad
Although many reviews used for this analysis were positive, some negative points focused on the breakfast room and noise.
Several guests complained that the breakfast room was quite small, with limited seating. They noted that it could get congested and one guest mentioned that she/he opted to eat in her/his room because there was nowhere to sit.
A few guests were disturbed by noise from guests in the hallways. A couple of guests who stayed in rooms near the lobby were particularly bothered by noise from that area.
