Although there were a few isolated comments that the rooms needing updating, many reviewers felt they were clean and well-appointed. Some thought the beds were comfortable.
The staff received many compliments from guests. There were described as being friendly and very helpful with giving directions and recommendations to local attractions.

The Bad
Many reviews used for this analysis were positive but one consistent complaint regarded the location.
Although a few guests noted that the hotel offered easy access to public transit, many complained that it was located on a busy road and that there were "questionable characters" in the area. Guests felt that it was not a good area for walking as there was a lot of traffic and few restaurants in the immediate surrounding area. Some felt the area was a bit seedy but that the hotel took security measures like locking the doors at night (accessible to guests by ringing a doorbell) and monitoring the building with security cameras.
