Overview
Located roughly 6 km, about an 10-minute drive, from Vancouver International Airport (YVR), La Quinta Inn Vancouver Airport is popular with travellers who prefer an economical overnight stay near the airport within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

This non-smoking hotel has 75 air-conditioned guest rooms on five floors, all of which offer free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, an iron/ironing board, a desk, and a hairdryer. Standard rooms offer two double beds or one king bed, and king suites also feature a microwave. Accessible rooms are available upon request. 

Parking is free. A free airport shuttle runs on demand to and from the Vancouver airport from 6 am to 9:30 pm. Dogs and cats up to 50 pounds are permitted free of charge.

Free continental breakfast with make-your-own waffles is available daily to all guests. Breakfast hours are 6 am to 9 am on weekdays and 7 am to 10 am on the weekends. Free coffee and other hot beverages are also available all day.

The hotel offers an indoor swimming pool and hot tub, meeting facilities, a business centre, and fitness facilities. 

La Quinta Inn Vancouver Airport is adjacent to Lansdowne Shopping Centre, which houses more than 130 brand name shops, as well as 7 full-service restaurants and a food court. The SkyTrain, which travels to downtown Vancouver from Lansdowne Station in about 40 minutes, is a 13-minute walk from the hotel or guests can access the bus in 4 minutes on foot. River Rock Casino can be found 7 minutes north by car.

A few reviewers mentioned having issues with noise and described street noise, loud patrons in adjacent rooms, as well as the hotel's heating/cooling system.

A couple guests also had complaints that the breakfast area was crowded and that the pool was too small. Occasionally a guest would complain about limited parking spots at the hotel which would result in guests having to park overnight on the street for free and move their cars at 8 am (or else find paid parking on the street).
