Overview
Days Inn and Suites Revelstoke is centrally located, 400m from the nearest Trans-Canada Highway interchange and about a 3-minute drive from Alpine Village Shopping Centre and the downtown core. The hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast and a fridge and microwave or kitchen/kitchenette in every room, which may appeal to those wanting be close to downtown with the option of self-catering during their stay.

Standard room features include an LCD TV, an iron and ironing board, individual climate control with air conditioning, a fridge, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer and either two queen beds or a king bed. One-bedroom suites sleep up to six people and have one or two queen beds, two TVs, a living room with sofabed and possible kitchenette or steam shower. Two-bedroom suites sleep up to eight people and have a king bed, two queen beds, a full kitchen, two TVs and a living room with sofabed. 

The Good
Many reviews used for this analysis were positive and focused on the rooms, the staff, the complimentary services and the location.

Although there were some complaints that certain rooms did not seem very well-maintained, many guests thought their room was spacious, clean, modern and well-appointed with a comfortable bed, a fridge and microwave or kitchenette.

The staff were complimented by some guests for being friendly and accommodating.

Many guests felt that the complimentary breakfast and aquatic centre passes were an added bonus, increasing the value of their stay. Guests mentioned that the continental breakfast was well stocked and attended, providing decent fare compared to other complimentary hotel breakfasts.

Some guests appreciated the central location of the hotel because it was easy to access and a short drive from the Trans-Canada Highway, the downtown area and Mount Revelstoke National Park.

The Bad
Although many reviews used for this analysis were positive, several complaints focused on noise and the quality of the rooms.

Some guests felt that the hotel was not soundproof and were disturbed by noise from guests in adjacent rooms and hallways. There were a handful of complaints about people partying in other rooms until the early hours of the morning. A few guests also complained of noise from passing trains.

Although many guests liked the quality of the rooms, some felt that the room they stayed in was dark and dingy. Guests noted stained carpets, bad smells and dirty furniture and dishes.
