Days Inn and Suites Revelstoke is centrally located, a 2-minute drive from the nearest Trans-Canada Highway interchange, Alpine Village Shopping Centre and about 4 minutes to the downtown core. The hotel offers a fridge and microwave or kitchenette in every room, which may appeal to those wanting the option of self-catering during their stay.

This 100% non-smoking hotel offers 54 rooms over two floors. Standard room features include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, an LCD TV with cable, individual climate control, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a coffeemaker, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer and either two queen beds or a king bed. 

One-bedroom suites sleep from 4 to 6 people and have one or two queen beds, two TVs, a living room with sofabed and may come with a kitchenette (2 burner hotplate, sink, microwave, fridge, cookware, dinnerware) or steam shower. Two-bedroom suites sleep up to 8 people and have a king bed, two queen beds, a full kitchen (dishwasher, oven with range, full-size fridge) dining area, two TVs and a living room with sofabed. 

Guests wishing to bring pets must call the hotel directly to secure a pet-friendly room. Two pets are allowed per room and guests are charged weekly for them at the rate of $15, plus tax.

The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast to all guests. On-site dining is available at Zalas Steak & Pizza House and Zalas Lounge open from 4:30 pm daily.

Amenities at this hotel include an indoor and an outdoor hot tub, a fitness centre, business centre, a gear drying room with lockers and guest laundry. There is no elevator for the hotel`s 2 floors.

There are a few restaurants and shops within 1 km of the hotel. Revelstoke Nickelodeon Museum, Revelstoke Railway Museum and Revelstoke Community & Aquatic Centre are all under a 5-minute drive away. Mount Revelstoke National Park can be reached in 10-minutes by car while Revelstoke Mountain Resort is an 11-minute drive away. The Good
Many reviews used for this analysis were positive and focused on the rooms, the staff, the free breakfast, the complimentary services and the location.

Although there were some complaints that certain rooms did not seem very well-maintained, many guests thought their room was spacious, clean, modern and well-appointed with a comfortable bed, a fridge and microwave or kitchenette.

The staff were complimented by some guests for being friendly and accommodating and guests frequently praised the free breakfast. Many guests felt that the complimentary breakfast and aquatic centre passes were an added bonus, increasing the value of their stay. Guests mentioned that the continental breakfast was well stocked and attended, providing decent fare compared to other complimentary hotel breakfasts.

Some guests appreciated the central location of the hotel because it was easy to access and a short drive from the Trans-Canada Highway, the downtown area and Mount Revelstoke National Park.
The Bad
Although many reviews read for this report were positive, there were some complaints offered by guest reviewers online who thought the hotel could be improved in some ways.

Some guests felt that the hotel was not soundproof and were disturbed by noise from guests in adjacent rooms and hallways. There were a handful of complaints about people partying in other rooms until the early hours of the morning. A few guests also complained of noise from passing trains.

Guests who had updated rooms seemed to be pleased with them and reported comfortable beds and clean conditions. There were a few reviewers that had older, uncomfortable mattresses in rooms that had not been updated.

A few guests felt the room was priced too high during their stay.
