Overview
Bordering the Little Qualicum River and along Island Highway West, the Riverside Resort Motel and Campground is geared towards travellers who prefer a well-priced hotel with two outdoor pools, extended kitchen amenities and easy highway access.

Each of the hotel's rooms comes equipped with free Wi-Fi, cable TV, a DVD player, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a microwave, a table and two chairs and a hair dryer. Cabins with a full kitchen, a dining area, one, two or three separate bedrooms and a living room with a futon are also available, as are one- and two-bedroom townhouses.

Hotel amenities include an outdoor pool with a waterslide, a kiddie pool, a campground, a playground, mini-golf, a convenience store, BBQ facilities, guest laundry and free parking. Pets are permitted for $10 per pet, per night.

Many guests praised the hotel's rates. They were described as affordable, reasonable, great and budget friendly. 

Numerous reviewers were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, updated, quiet, well equipped, spacious and well maintained, with comfortable beds. A few lodgers did have complaints about their accommodations, however (see below).

The hotel's location was enjoyed by several travellers. They described it as relaxing and close to the beach, restaurants, highway access, Parksville and Englishman Falls.
