"The room we had was old and outdated. (In old section of the hotel). The second day there was a water leak in the bathroom (ceiling). I slipped and wrenched my back and knee and after wasting a 1/2 day waiting for someone,(called three times and went to the desk once), they finally moved us to a two bedroom "suite" (in the new section) which was better. When I mentioned my slip, the comment was "well that's why we're moving you". I asked to see the Manager but was told the Manager was "busy". The "suite" ended up having water problems also, the sink in the kitchen was backing up. They had a children's program, which you had to sign up for ahead of
time, but the next day when the children went to the program, they did not have enough supplies, the person who was supposed to be in charge kept leaving the children, and there was only one person one day with 22 children, and two persons with 26 children another day. There was no supervision for the complete program, and they sent the children away at the end of the program, before the parents had a chance to get them. After the second day, we refused to allow the children to attend as did other parents. The front desk people were very unorganized, couldn't respond to many of the questions asked them and were very slow when it came to checkout. Lawn chairs and lounge chairs outside were broken and the beach area very small.
All in all, I would never stay there again, and definitely will tell anyone that goes to Osoyoos to stay away from this place."
