Overview
This hotel is situated on Highway 3 with views of Lake Osoyoos in the front and back of the property. This hotel features a private beach on Lake Osoyoos and is well suited for guests looking to enjoy lake activities. Suites with full kitchens are available for guests in need of extended-stay accommodations.

This hotel is 100% smoke-free and all 60 rooms include free Wi-Fi, free local calls, a 27" TV, an iron and ironing board, a coffeemaker, a mini-fridge, a work desk and individual climate control. Select rooms also include a balcony and or a sofabed. Rooms are furnished with one queen bed, two queen beds or one king bed. Kitchenette rooms are available and are equipped with a fridge, stove, coffeemaker, microwave and cookware. 

Suites provide a full kitchen and more spacious accommodations. One bedroom suites are furnished with either two queen beds and a sofabed or one king bed, one queen bed and a sofabed. Two-bedroom suites are configured with one queen bed in one bedroom, one queen bed and a single bed in the second bedroom, and a sofabed in the living room. 

Free parking is available on site and pets are permitted for an additional fee of $10 per night, per pet (maximum of two pets per room).

A free continental breakfast is served daily from 7 am to 10 am.

On-site recreational facilities include an indoor pool, a waterslide and a hot tub. Other on-site amenities include guest laundry facilities, meeting facilities (catering available), ice machines and safe deposit boxes.

The Nk'Mip Desert Cultural Centre, Sonora Dunes Executive Golf Course, and Spirit Ridge Vineyard are all located with a 7 minute drive of this hotel. The US border crossing is about 6 minutes away by car, while the Haynes Point Provincial Park is about an 8-minute drive away. The Good
Many guests described overall pleasant experiences at this hotel, among the reviews used for this analysis. Reviewers were most happy with the friendly staff and having direct access to the beach. 

The staff were frequently complimented for their helpful service and one reviewer said that the staff were quick to provide restaurant recommendations. 

Many guests praised having beach access directly from the property and a few reviewers, who were travelling with children, mentioned that the lake was warm, shallow and safe (during the summer of course).

Many reviewers described their rooms as clean and simple. A few guests said that they had amazing views of the lake.

The indoor pool, waterslide and hot tub were enjoyed by several guests. A couple of reviewers were particularly happy about having the waterslide to entertain their children.

The Bad
While there were some concerns and complaints found for this hotel, many seemed to result from isolated incidents. However, among the reviews sourced for this analysis, a few guests thought that the room rates were too expensive for the quality of the accommodations and a few reviewers described their room interiors as dated and tired.

A few reviewers thought that the free breakfast selection could have been improved. One guest was upset that only plastic plates and cutlery were provided.

A few guests were disappointed that this property did not have an on-site restaurant.

A couple of reviewers mentioned noise disturbances from neighbouring rooms and one guest could hear the shower running in the adjacent room.
