"Fair hotel, getting tired. Good location"
"Breakfast area is too crowded during the 3 hour breakfast window. The beds are too soft and the sheets too small so they come un-tucked and bunch up. Although we were 3 guests, for the first 3 days of our stay they only provided 2 sets of bath towels, amenities for one person... really really cheap.
There's only one window which opens - the one facing the parking lot at street or pedestrian level. Not too safe. No other windows open, so you can't get any airflow through the room. On the upside, the air conditioning worked pretty well."

"This hotel is no longer a Ramada Inn. It has had new owners since Spring of '06. We had difficulty finding it because the sign says North Vancouver Hotel and we were looking for a Ramada Inn. Also, the north side of the sign does not have the number on it. We thought it was clean and well kept. They were currently doing some painting, which was a minor incovenience (pop machines unplugged), but the paint job added to the attractiveness. Things were frustrating in the breakfast room at times. They had only one person working the front desk and taking care of the breakfast room at the same time. They need to have additional staff in the mornings. I found it a bit pricey by my American standards, but it seemed like a good value compared to the area. The location is excellent. It is on the road to Grouse Mountain and only blocks from the Lions Gate Bridge to Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was doing upgrades and painting...it was not what we were expecting. The small pool that was at the hotel was nice for the children. But housekeeping needed to be improved upon."

"The only glitch was that on my Internet regiatration I asked for a "quiet room." I was assigned one next to the pool, the stairs, and the Coke machine. I asked to be moved to a quieter place and they pleasantly did so. Nonetheless, if I specify desirable room characteristics, I expect someone to pay attention to them."
