OverviewLocated on North Vancouver's waterfront, the Lonsdale Quay Hotel is a boutique-style hotel situated in the city's downtown area, adjacent to the SeaBus terminal and Lonsdale Quay Market. The hotel is popular with business travellers and tourists requiring easily accessible transportation to local attractions and downtown Vancouver.
This hotel has 70 air-conditioned guest rooms and suites, all of which offer free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a hair dryer, a balcony, and one or two queen beds. Junior suites also have one king or queen bed, a bathrobe for each guest, and a desk, while executive rooms also include a separate seating area, a water cooler, a mini fridge, and a microwave.
The hotel offers an 8-person board room, a business centre, fitness facilities, and a gift shop. Accessible rooms are available upon request, and pets are not permitted. Parking is available for $11 per night.
The Lonsdale Quay Hotel offers on-site dining at Mix Lounge, which is open daily for breakfast only. Additional dining options include Montgomery's Fish & Chips and Cheshire Cheese Restaurant and Bar, which are both located next door to the hotel.
The hotel is close to several of the area's tourist attractions: Lonsdale Quay Market is roughly a 30-second walk down the street, Capilano Suspension Bridge is a 10-minute drive northwest of the hotel, and Grouse Mountain is 15 minutes away by car. Downtown Vancouver can be reached by SeaBus from the Lonsdale Terminal (a 12-minute trip).

The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's location, rooms, and staff.
Several reviewers praised the location of the hotel, and found its close proximity to the SeaBus terminal very convenient. They mentioned the location as being close to many restaurants, shops, and the Lonsdale Market.
Most guests were pleased with their accommodations at the hotel. They described their rooms as being spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Many also enjoyed the views of the Quay and shipyards, mountains and downtown Vancouver from their rooms.
The staff received many compliments from lodgers, who described them as friendly and courteous. These reviewers mentioned the staff "bent over backwards", and helped guests find their way around the city.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a few common complaints among them, which included difficulty finding the hotel along with concerns about parking, noise, and the layout of the furniture in the rooms.
Some guests had difficulty finding the hotel and its parking. They were disappointed that there was nowhere for them to park outside the front doors while unloading and checking in, and that they had to pay for parking outside the hotel first and then again at the hotel once they had checked in.
A few reviewers had complaints about noise during their stay. They described being woken up by a neighbour's alarm clock, hearing ship noise from the harbour, doors slamming in the hallways, and the in-room fridge being noisy.
The layout of the furniture was a source of concern for a few guests. They complained that the coffeemakers were located in the bathrooms and that the layout of the sitting furniture in relation to the TV was not very convenient.
