The GoodThe majority of reviews consulted for this analysis were positive with much praise going to the hotel's rooms, location, and value.
Most guests were complimentary of their accommodations at this hotel. They described comfortable beds and linens, as well as clean and spacious rooms. Several of these guests also praised the outdoor pool and sitting area.
The location was praised my many reviewers who described the hotel as being close to Lion's Gate Bridge, local attractions such as Capilano Suspension Bridge, and downtown Vancouver. It was also mentioned by some guests that this hotel was a good starting point for the Sea to Sky Highway 99, which runs to Whistler.
Several lodgers were pleased with the value of the Best Western Capilano Inn & Suites, and felt the price was more reasonable in comparison to Vancouver hotels. These guests mentioned the free parking and Wi-Fi as contributing factors to the value of the hotel.
The Bad
While most of the reviews consulted for this analysis were positive, there were a couple common complaints among them, including traffic noise and the lack of complimentary breakfast.
Some guests had complaints about noise at the hotel. They described hearing traffic noise from Capilano Road and said that it was disruptive to their sleep and lasted all night. It should be noted, however, that the majority of guests did not have complaints about the traffic noise.
A few guests were disappointed that there was no complimentary breakfast included, as had been their experience with other Best Westerns in other regions. They felt it should have been included, and that the on-site restaurant was too expensive.
TripAdvisor.com guest reviews ranked the hotel #6 out of 10 North Vancouver hotels from 51 reviews.
