The Good
Some guests found this motel to provide a clean bed and a safe place to lay their head for an overnight stop.

It was very conveniently located just off the Yellowhead Hwy, in a quiet spot with mountain views.

It had very friendly owners and staff that everyone seemed to like and get along with. They were described as courteous, welcoming, very friendly and helpful.

Many enjoyed the on-site restaurant, which one guest called a "great homey cafe". Except for the odd complaint of slow service, guests praised the good food and huge portions. One reviewer exclaimed, "best food on the Yellowhead!"

Comfy Sandman beds were reported to be on site. One guest said, "clean, orderly room at a good price", and another said "great shower". Guests usually had a good sleep at this quiet hotel.

The Bad
This motel is older and in need of renovation and some guests found fault with the facilities.

Complaints focused on outdated furniture, stale and musty odours and rooms and bathrooms that were not cleaned to the standard expected.

Rooms and bathrooms were sometimes described as small and cramped.

A few guests were disappointed with very limited channels or fuzzy TV reception.

Not all rooms had built-in air conditioners, but the hotel supplied portable ones and a few guests said they had no AC during their stay.

A couple of guests mentioned that the land surrounding the motel needed attention. One said it looked like a scrapyard and another said that the grassy area for pets was filled with garbage and debris.
