Overview
Located about an 8-minute drive from Malahat's centre and a 6-minute drive from the nearest Trans-Canada Highway on-ramp, Malahat View Guesthouse is geared towards road travellers who prefer bed-and-breakfast-style accommodations with a free breakfast, lake and mountain views and easy highway access.

Each of this smoke-free hotel's guest rooms offers free Wi-Fi and a shared or private bathroom. Rooms with a kitchenette, a deck and a jetted tub are also available and the hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

Hotel amenities include massage and salon treatments, a sitting room, a free breakfast and free parking. Pets are not permitted. 

Spectacle Lake Provincial Park is roughly a 9-minute drive from the hotel, while Tillicum Centre offers shopping 25 minutes away by car. The Good
There were not many online reviews for this hotel at the time of writing, however, of those consulted, guests showed positive responses towards the hotel's breakfast, rooms and staff.

Guests praised the hotel's breakfast, describing it as fresh, organic, excellent and low carb. One patron remarked, "The best was the breakfast! OMG! Crepes, sausage, organic vegetables and herbs grown right on the property, and eggs freshly gathered from the hen house on the property".

The hotel's accommodations were enjoyed by reviewers. They found their rooms to be beautiful, luxurious and comfortable, with great lake and mountain views. One guest did complain of mosquitoes and flies in their room due to the lack of mosquito netting, however.

Lodgers were pleased with the level of customer service they received during their stay. They characterized the staff as helpful, accommodating and welcoming.
