The Bad
Reviews used for this analysis were mixed, with negative feedback focused on the age of the hotel, the size of the rooms and the value.
Many guests felt the hotel was showing its age. Linens, paint, decor and carpets were all aspects that guests thought needed upgrading. Some guests also complained that some beds were saggy and/or had broken springs. A few guests noted a cigarette smell in rooms that were supposed to be non-smoking and that the fitness centre was "barren" with only a few exercise machines. Overall, it was felt that the hotel was "tired" and in need of updating.
Some guests felt that certain rooms were quite small. Guests complained of little room to store luggage or to sit and relax.
In part, due to the age and state of the building, some guests felt the price they paid was too high. Guests stated that the value would have been better if the hotel offered more amenities like a fridge and microwave in every room, a pool and free breakfast.
