The GoodThe majority of reviews used for this analysis were positive and focused on the rooms, the staff, the breakfast and the location.
Many guests felt the rooms were clean and modern. Some were very impressed with the styling and spaciousness of the rooms and also complimented the bathrooms, beds and pillows.
The staff were commended by many guests for being friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff were thought to be thorough and efficient and the front desk staff were said to provide excellent customer service.
Many guests were surprised by the free buffet breakfast, stating that it was a better selection than they expected. The inclusion of hot items such as eggs, sausages and bacon was appreciated by many and it was felt by some that the food was tasty and fresh.
Some guests felt the hotel's proximity to the Trans-Canada Highway made it easy to access. Some also appreciated that the hotel was within walking distance (a few blocks) of several restaurants and shops.
The Bad
Although the majority of reviews used for this analysis were positive, a few negative comments focused on the Wi-Fi, cable TV and the overall value.
A few isolated complaints were made about the Wi-Fi connection being slow. Although wired internet ports are available in every room this may not be an option for those wanting to connect tablets or cell phones. A couple guests also noted that the hotel did not subscribe to several specialty TV channels listed in the cable menu.
Overall, a few guests felt that the hotel provided average accommodations and that it was not worth the price compared to other options in the area.
