The highly-rated and budget-friendly Langley City Travelodge is my pick for a good value stay in Langley. This is an older property but clean and comfortable, offering a basic room at a lower price point. It’s located right on Fraser Highway adjacent to the Langley Regional Airport and close to the Langley Memorial Hospital.

Downtown Langley is about a 7-minute drive from the hotel. Guests found the location close to many amenities including shopping, dining, entertainment, sports venues and even conference centres. The free breakfast was appreciated by some guests (although several thought it was too basic), and guests thought the hotel staff provided excellent service. Parking and Wi-Fi are also included in the room rate.

Highly praised Langley hotel with well-equipped rooms, free parking and free hot breakfast
Pros
  • Free amenities: Wi-Fi, hot breakfast, parking local and long distance calls (in North America)
  • The staff were described as excellent by many reviewers
  • Many guests liked the location for being close to amenities and good restaurants
  • Rooms were clean and comfortable, according to many guests
  • Many guests were pleased with the quality and selection of the free hot breakfast
  • Many guests were pleased with the value of this hotel
I picked the friendly and highly-rated Days Inn for very good value in Langley. Although it's more expensive, it offers more amenities to guests and will provide extra comfort and convenience for the extra dollars. It has a nicer room (than the Travelodge) with modern bedding, microwave and mini-fridge and flat-screen TV for $25-$40 more per night. Their free breakfast has hot selections making it a more substantial start to the day, and it also has a 24-hr fitness centre and hot tub on site.

It has a 24-hr Tim Hortons right next door, and a few restaurants and pubs a few minute’s walk away. It’s a little farther out of town, just off of Fraser Highway, and 10 minutes to downtown Langley (40 minutes to Vancouver). It’s also clean, but older and in need of updating say guests, but still very comfortable. Most guests also consider it an excellent value.
Guests receive Wi-Fi, hot breakfast, parking, local calls and long distance calls in North American all included in the room price.
