The Good
Reviews showed mixed opinions from guests who stayed at this hotel.

Some guests found a clean and comfortable room at this hotel. They enjoyed the amenities, dining on site and the location which was handy to the highway and a very large mall right across the street, with many shops and places to eat.

But guest experience varied, along with the reviews, and much of it may have depended upon which building they were assigned to stay in. The newer Tower building was recently updated, has king beds, more spacious rooms and an elevator to all levels.

The Atrium building is older, without elevators to the second storey, and guests who stayed in this section of the hotel felt it was like staying in a motel.

The Bad
Many reviewers were displeased with the hotel along several common themes.

Some rooms were not pleasant to stay in. Some found the pool side rooms smelled of chlorine. Others complained of noisy or ineffective AC units, dated decor, old polyester bedding, dark rooms, a warped door that wouldn't close, mould on the bathroom tiles, a low shower head and overly big pillows with no pillow selection available. A few guests complained that their room did not match the better pictures posted online.

Several guests found poorly cleaned and poorly vacuumed rooms and a few guests complained of stains found. To make matters worse, guests were sometimes given a room that had not been serviced from the previous guest.

Although staff was usually friendly, guests often complained about them being short or rude.

Several guests described the pool and hot tub as dirty with hair, scum and other debris floating in it.

Guests also complained of parking spots that were too narrow for normal cars, which caused people to take up more space. Some guests were thus challenged to locate parking during their stay.

Guests who were the most dissatisfied usually stayed in high season during the summer, and paid over $200 a night for an older, dated room which one guest said was likely worth $80 a night.
