"I actually made the mistake of thinking I was registerng with a Sandman site on the interenet.
When I went to check in I learnt that the points were not valid and I had paid in U.S. dollars
So I was told very curtly that I would get nothing.
I found the experience somewhat annoying because the staff sounded like I was being lectured to"

"I suggest a high speed internet should be available in this day and age in every room. Sand man hotels charge a high rate of $5.00 for 4 hours ($30 per day $900 per month) and a high speed connection is free at Best Western. Room rates are high for what is provided. Pay per view movies is also an insult when you pay over $140 per night for a single room. The Sandman chain is quite known for this, but I did not have the connections in Kelowna that I do now. My next stay will cost me half as much with twice the hotel and will not be at a Sandman."

"I thought that the hotel was good, very friendly staff and well priced. There was an ample amount of parking and it was easy to find once we got into Kelowna. I would definatly use the Sandman Inn hotel chain if I went somewhere else on vacation. The beds were very comfortable and the room was well air conditioned (thank goodness for this as it was very hot outside).
The only concern I had and it wasn't with the hotel itself was that I made a reservation on line at the hotel through this web site and I was charged in American for the reservation and the head office is in Vancouver! I could have called a toll free number and made a reservation and not had to pay $23 on my Visa bill."
