The GoodGuests who stayed at this hotel seemed to be quite happy with the property mainly due to the hotel's location. However guests also liked their rooms and the value that they received for the prices they paid.
The location of the hotel was often described as central to many services. Several guests said that they found shopping and/or restaurants nearby. Many guests also mentioned that there were coffee shops close to the hotel, including a Starbucks. Occasionally, patrons that were passing through Kelowna mentioned that they were near to Highway 97 although there was some balance of opinion regarding the hotel's proximity to the highway.
Guests that liked their rooms typically called them "clean." Multiple guests also described their rooms as large and occasionally a guest that booked a kitchenette room indicated that he/she was pleased with the facilities.
Guests who commented on the value they received for the prices they paid were usually satisfied. Multiple guests said that their room rates were "affordable" and one guest said he found the hotel cheaper than the competition.
The staff of this hotel also received a lot of compliments as guests described them as accommodating or called them "friendly" and/or "helpful."
The Bad
Guests that were unhappy with their stay usually complained about noise at the property.
Numerous guests said that they were bothered with sounds coming from the street due to the fact that the hotel was situated on Highway 97, a major route that passes through Kelowna. A couple guests recommended bringing earplugs to the hotel to deal with the noise and one guest claimed he/she could "hear traffic all night long." Additionally, some guests were bothered by noise from guests in other rooms.
There were not too many other areas that had complaints from multiple guests. However occasionally a guest mentioned that the temperature of the water in the shower fluctuated between hot and cold.
Lastly, a couple guests felt as though their mattresses at the hotel were uncomfortable.
Expedia.ca guest ratings averaged to 4.2 points out of 5 and 95% of guests recommended the property.
Booking.com guest ratings averaged to 8.1 points out of 10 and the site had 50 reviews.
