"Staff was friendly and helpful, but we initially were placed in a heavily deodorized obviously smoked in room (we had three little kids along). We said that was not acceptable and they upgraded and switched our rooms and gave us a good deal on top of it, but then we found out that the pool was out of order and the hot tub was not working either. When we went for breakfast(included) in the morning, the lady was not friendly and the food was scarce. We were lucky to have bagels! No muffins, no boiled eggs, no yogurt, the only fruit was apples. Very disappointing, as one of the big reasons we reserved here was because it had breakfast included. We ended up defecting to the neighboring hotel that had a well maintained pool, hot tub, water slide and an awesome full breakfast that satisfied everyone. (Price was the same, though the room not as big....) I don't want to downplay the help from the staff of this hotel though. They were excellent, and if the hotel and amenities matched their attitude, it would have been a first rate place and we would not have moved at all."

"The only issue we had was with cigarette smoke originating in the bathroom. Somehow it got into our room and was a problem, because my wife is extremely allergic to it.
We had to keep the bathroom fan running which was really noisy (bearings?)in order to ensure that the smoke wouldn't permeate the room.
It must have been coming from a room through the ventillation system somehow."
