Most guests were complimentary towards their rooms at this hotel. The beds, linens and pillows were described as comfortable, the cleanliness of the rooms was often mentioned and reviewers also found the accommodations spacious for the most part, although a few described their rooms as "on the small side".
Several lodgers praised the staff, and characterized them as friendly, polite, engaging and helpful. A few guests mentioned the staff being the highlight of their stay.
The hotel's proximity to downtown Kamloops was seen as a positive aspect by some reviewers. They mentioned many restaurants being within walking distance.
The Bad
Negative reviews found for this analysis mentioned the hotel's noise, parking, and outdated rooms.
Several reviewers described negative experiences regarding noise, whether it was noise transfer between rooms, noisy air conditioning units, or noise heard from the hotel bar.
Some guests were disappointed with the additional parking charge of $7 per night. A few of these guests complained that they were not made aware of the parking charges until they received their credit card bill after their stay.
Although most patrons were pleased with their rooms, some guests had complaints about their rooms needing upgrading. Some complaints included small TVs (which weren't flat screens), mould around the caulking in the bathrooms and worn-out carpets.
