The Good
Many guests described pleasant stays at this well-maintained property.

Guests found clean, quiet and well-equipped rooms with good showers and good air conditioning. Many appreciated the value offered, with reasonable rooms rates, and although breakfast had a small selection (muffins, toast, juice and coffee), guests seemed to appreciate having a little something to start the day off that was fresh and included in an already lower room rate.

This was a good spot, just off the highway with easy access, and lots of free parking in a secure and well lit lot.

Guests said the staff were hospitable, friendly and helpful with directions and dining options.

Other items of praise were: playground nearby for kids, room with flat screen TV, lots of cable channels, heat lamps in bathroom, free washing machine (dryer needs coins), room seemed refurbished, nice size fridge, microwave helpful for those on road trips, an area set up for smokers outside, the staff were honest (kept my phone safe in order to return it), the hot tub was relaxing, windows opened for fresh air, showers had good water pressure and accessible room excellent.
The Bad
The motel did receive some negative feedback.

Some felt the breakfast was too basic (without fruit or cereal) and could be offered a little longer.

Occasionally guests complained of noise disturbances from: neighbours, plumbing sounds, AC units, freight train and traffic on Hwy 1.

Some thought it was located a little far from downtown.

Other complaints were: hot tub was too hot and a little small, stained carpets in need of better cleaning, towels old and worn out, bathroom not the cleanest, room smelled of smoke, old-style bedspreads not appealing, mattress made of foam not supportive enough, mildew odour in room, smelly shower curtain, no working deadbolt, hard mattress, and pillows too hard and too thick.
