Most reviewers had complaints about the rooms' cleanliness and rundown state. They described filthy carpets, dirty toilets and sinks, worn-out beds and bedding, old towels with holes in them, dirty walls and doors, mould in the bathrooms, and rickety furniture. Several odours were also described, such as cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room, the smell of urine, and an overpowering smell of air-fresheners.
Some guests complained about the service in the hotel. One guest reported that after he saw the condition of the room and decided not to stay, the staff refused to cancel the reservation.
