Overview
Overlooking South Thompson River and about a 5-minute drive from Kamloops' city centre just off Highway 5, the Riverland Inn & Suites is suitable for travellers who prefer a centrally located hotel with an indoor pool, a free breakfast and easy highway access.

Each of the hotel's air-conditioned guest rooms offers free Wi-Fi, a lap desk, a coffeemaker, a hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. Rooms with a desk, a microwave, a mini-fridge, a jetted tub and a sitting area with a sofabed are also available, as are smoking, non-smoking and wheelchair-accessible rooms.

Many guests were pleased with their lodgings at the hotel. They described their rooms as clean, spacious, well equipped, quiet and updated, with great river views, comfortable beds and linens, good water pressure and fast Wi-Fi. A few lodgers had complaints about their rooms, however (see below).

The hotel's location was praised by numerous reviewers. They found it close to downtown Kamloops, highway access, Kamloops Tennis Association, Kamloops Heritage Railway, Riverside Park and Costco.

Several travellers were pleased with the level of customer service they received. They characterized the staff as accommodating, friendly, helpful and efficient.
