The Good
The majority of guest reviews used for this analysis were positive and centred on the hotel's location, breakfast, and staff.

Many guests were pleased with the location of the Hampton Inn. They described it as being close to shopping, restaurants, and the downtown area and were especially pleased that it was close to the Trans-Canada Highway.

The complimentary hot breakfast was a source of many compliments at this hotel. It was considered "more than we expected" by one patron and was described as having a large variety of items, including make-your-own waffles, sausages, fresh fruit, muffins and a selection of breads. However, a few reviewers had complaints about the plastic cutlery and plates used and felt they degraded the hotel and its breakfast.

Several reviewers paid compliments to the staff and described them as being courteous, helpful and friendly. These same guests also mentioned the service at the hotel was efficient.
The Bad
Negative reviews found for this analysis mentioned the hotel's elevator, noise transfer, and lack of green space for pets.

Although there were very few negative reviews of this hotel, a few guests found that the one elevator was too slow, and that it could not cope with the morning check-out rush.

A few reviewers had issues with noise transfers between rooms and could hear footsteps from the patrons in the room above.

A few guests who were pet owners complained that there was no green space around the hotel in which they could walk their pets.

"Fantastic experience"

"We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at your hotel. It was perfect for our family of 5...having a hideabed in the room was huge. Everyone was able to sleep on something comfortable. Also, the breakfast offered is wonderful. Loved the scrambled eggs and bacon...food of substance. Plus the additional options of Danishes and waffles, etc was great. Great pool and waterslide for kids...hot tub for the adults! :) And the front end staff was a delight to deal with. We will definitely stay again!"

"Will stay there again"

"Hot breakfast a winner, and free parking a bonus. Beds were comfy, and room was clean. Little tricky to find the hotel, but now that we know the location, no problem. Bar size fridge would be nice, but we survived. ORA restaurant across the street was great. Shopping nearby."

"Welcoming, friendly and nothing too much trouble - excellent."

"A very good hotel close to the highway with several good establishments closeby to get an evening meal. The welcome and service from the staff was second to none, always friendly with a smile on their face. I would definitly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again."

"Very satisfactory medium-priced hotel."

"The hotel is generally excellent. My only criticism is that the doors to the rooms and corridors need adjustment so that they don't slam shut with a loud noise. While there is no food available in-house,good restaurants are nearby."
