Many guests were pleased with the location of the Hampton Inn. They described it as being close to shopping, restaurants, and the downtown area and were especially pleased that it was close to the Trans-Canada Highway.
The complimentary hot breakfast was a source of many compliments at this hotel. It was considered "more than we expected" by one patron and was described as having a large variety of items, including make-your-own waffles, sausages, fresh fruit, muffins and a selection of breads. However, a few reviewers had complaints about the plastic cutlery and plates used and felt they degraded the hotel and its breakfast.
Several reviewers paid compliments to the staff and described them as being courteous, helpful and friendly. These same guests also mentioned the service at the hotel was efficient.
The Bad
Negative reviews found for this analysis mentioned the hotel's elevator, noise transfer, and lack of green space for pets.
Although there were very few negative reviews of this hotel, a few guests found that the one elevator was too slow, and that it could not cope with the morning check-out rush.
