"I left my confirmation at my home in Calgary but thought it was either this hotel or perhaps two others, so when I called to ask the desk clerk said NO that we were not booked there. After calling around, I finally had to call my neighbor (3 long distance phone calls later) thaat confirmed to me that YES indeed we were staying at the Travelodge. Had my confirmation number and asked why she ad told us NO when we called earlier and said that our name wasn't on the sheet in front of her but was in the computer???? NO apology or discount, I was very disappointed but perhaps she didn't have that authority!?"

"The context of our circumstances was not the best. We had just cycled from Radium to Golden and had 2 flat tyres. When I arrived at the hotel all I wanted was a hot shower, to relax and get clean. But the boiler had broken hence the water was cold, also went to the bathroom to use the toilet & th etoilet overflowed and made a mess over the floor. The lady at reception was good and gave us another room."
