Overview
Located just off the Trans-Canada Highway and about a 5-minute drive from Golden's city centre, the Swiss Village Inn Golden is geared towards car travellers who require a well-priced, centrally located stopover hotel with a hot tub, extended kitchen amenities and easy highway access.

Each of the hotel's air-conditioned guest rooms offers free Wi-Fi, cable TV and a private bathroom. Rooms with a mini-fridge or kitchen and a jetted tub are also available, as are smoking and non-smoking rooms. The hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

Hotel amenities include a hot tub, a sauna, free coffee in the lobby and free parking. Pets are permitted upon request and fees range from $10 to $20 per pet, per night. 

Sobey's Grocery store is about a 4-minute drive away, while College of the Rockies can be found 7 minutes away by car. The hotel's location was convenient for several patrons, who found it close to highway access, Tim Hortons, restaurants and downtown Golden. One guest noted, "We parked our car and were able to bike everywhere in town. Close to quick food and highway".
