Overview
This hotel is located at the base of the Fernie Alpine Resort and is best suited for guests looking for less than a one-minute walk to the lifts (skiing in winter and hiking/mountain biking in the summer). There are a few restaurants and shops located on the resort and within a 3-minute walk of the hotel.

Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available. All rooms include a TV, a coffeemaker, a desk, free local calls, black-out curtains and a mini-fridge. Wi-Fi is available for an additional fee of $9.95 per 24 hours. All rooms are furnished with two double beds.

Free parking is available on site and pets are permitted for an additional fee of $65 per stay.

On-site amenities include ski storage, a BBQ area, two indoor hot tubs, coin-operated laundry machines and business services (copy and fax). Front desk agents are not available in the evenings or overnight  and work from 8 am to 5 pm only.

A shuttle service (independently owned) is available from the Fernie Alpine Resort to the town of Fernie during the winter season for about $3 each way. 

The town of Fernie is about a 10-minute drive away and features shopping, restaurants, nightlife venues and The Arts Station (community arts centre). The Fernie Golf and Country Club is 13 minutes away by car, while the access point to the Castle Mountain hiking trails (on Coal Creek Road) is a 14-minute drive away. Access to Crowsnest Highway (Highway 3), which leads east to Lethbridge and west to Cranbrook, is 2 minutes away by car. (All walking and driving time estimates: Google Maps)

Many reviewers discovered cleanliness inconsistencies and guests described dirty carpeting, linens and walls. One reviewer perceived that the sheets had not been changed between guests.
