Most reviews used for this hotel were positive and focused on the rooms, the staff and the location.

Although many guests felt the hotel was outdated they often still considered the rooms to be clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Guests also appreciated the inclusion of a fridge and microwave or kitchenette in every room.

The staff received compliments from many guests for being friendly and helpful. Some felt that staff were very responsive to requests or problems and went out of their way to provide great service.

The location was a highlight for many guests because of its proximity to the Trans-Canada Highway, a US border crossing and Abbotsford International Airport. Guests also appreciated that there were several restaurants and shops in the immediate area.

The Bad
Although many reviews used for this analysis were positive, several focused on the hotel's need for updates and problems with noise.

Many guests felt the hotel was rundown and in need of updates. Guests mentioned that TVs, carpets, paint, bathrooms, fixtures, furniture and the exterior of the building could all use upgrading. There were several complaints of cigarette odours and broken or ineffective air conditioning units.

Many guests complained of noise from guests in adjacent rooms and outside corridors as well as traffic from the nearby highway and vehicles starting up early in the morning.
