"We were disappointed that there was no room service available to us during our stay (apparently due to staff shortage).
We were also disappointed that the front desk wouldn't let us use 2 towels to take our kids to the pool while we waited for our room to be ready for us to check-in.
The guest services key on our phone wasn't working and there was also never any answer at housekeeping.
When I made our reservation using the 1-800 number from the web site, the lady assured me we could get a cot in our room because we have 5 people in our family and the room only had 2 double beds. When I called a few days before our arrival, I was told the hotel didn't provide cots, so we had to bring an extra bed which was fairly inconvenient."

"Would have expected passes to Millenium Place included with the cost of the room. There are no spa/pool/weight room facilities in the hotel itself, adn for $143 /night I would expect better accommodation."

"I reserved a smoking room and when we arrived they sent us up to a non-smoking floor....then i called down to reception and they were kinda rude about it....they then said that they gave all of their smoking rooms away. I fought a bit, cause I WANTED a smoking room, and eventually we got one."

"YES.
First of all, I forgot to bring my pre-paid voucher with me, so I had to pay for my room again. I have only just returned home so I haven't started the ball rolling to have my credit card refunded for the second charge. It was of course my fault, but still - the hotel had my confirmation #.. shouldn't they have had SOME record that I'd already paid? So this is a bit of a mess that I hope can be straightened out. The Playstation Games didn't work, the cordless keyboard batteries were dead and the room was WAY too hot, with no window that could be opened and no airconditioning available. Then room service sent up Fruit Loops for breakfast, but they poured the milk on the cereal IN the KITCHEN, so by the time they came up to the room they were soggy. All 3 bowls. Very unfortunate."

"Great place for kids as Sports Complex attached to hotel which is why we always stay at least 1 day while in Edmonton to hit West Edmonton Mall.
Front Desk less than helpful. Asked for towels for the complex & the answer was we're out right now."
