Overview
This hotel is situated right on the Icefields Parkway with several outdoor recreational activities available nearby. With the nearest Highway 93 interchange 15-minutes by car (west) from the hotel, this property would be ideal for guests who want easy access to nearby outdoor attractions or road travellers making a short stopover. 

This hotel offers 66 rooms that come with a telephone, satellite TV, a private deck with bench and complimentary toiletries. Some rooms feature a sofabed, a jetted tub, a fireplace, a coffeemaker and a mini-fridge.

Amenities include an on-site dining (cafeteria/dining room), on-site lounge (Crossing Pub), a gift shop, a fitness room, a sauna, guest laundry and a full service gas station.

On-site parking is complimentary. 

The surrounding area hosts several outdoor recreational activities. Warden Lake (hiking trails) is a 3-minute drive east from the hotel. A mountain biking trail is directly behind the property that takes guests along Saskatchewan River. Peyto Lake is a 28-minute car ride east. Bow Lake (fishing) is 33-minutes eastward by car from the hotel and Weeping Wall (ice climbing) is a 39-minute drive west of the property. (All driving estimates: Google Maps)
The Good
The majority of reviews sourced for this analysis were negative. However, guests complimented the room views, the hotel's location and spoke favourably about the room cleanliness. 

By far, the biggest compliment among reviews were views from the rooms. Many guests raved about the mountain views from their rooms and felt that was the best part of their stay. 

The hotel's location was a big draw for many guests. They felt it was convenient for accessing outdoor recreational activities. Several reviewers mentioned it was an ideal location for a road trip stopover.

Some guests thought the rooms were clean. However, there are mixed reviews and opposing opinions about this (see below).

The Bad
