"We were surprised when we arrived that our room seemed to be a smoking room as it smelt like cigarette smoke as we had requested a non-smoking room while making the reservation. Also I think some maintenance of the weight machine in the fitness centre would be beneficial to all future guests. All in all it was a decent hotel, coming from Edmonton we found it a little pricey at $129 per night but I assume that is because of all the oil workers in the area."

"The hotel people were fine and accommodated our needs well.
The problem for us was with your own organisation - I specifically chose the room options indicated as available which were NOT designated as smoking rooms, when booking on the internet.
When we arrived we found the booking had been made for a smoking room which definitely took the edge off our enjoyment and required an air purifier to be provided from the hotel. They did all they could to assist in what they insisted was a booking problem generated by your system.
And I am sure you will still want to charge us for your own poor level of service provision, which I will resent, and will ensure I never use your service again.

"We found that all staff except for housekeeping were very unfriendly. We were never asked if there was anything we would like to make our stay more pleasant. There was never even a smile nor Good Morning etc. When asked to look into booking at another Super 8 in a different location we were handed a paper with the number on it and told to do it ourselves. Hence we booked our second night at the Holiday Inn in Calgary instead where we received excellent customer service. I have worked in customer service for over 27 years and was very disappointed in the lack of . I hestitate to stay at another Super 8 in the future."

"My only concern was that I had requested a non smoking room, all that was apparently available at the time was a smoking room or a non smoking suite.
The cost of the room was significantly higher than a standard room. Although I was given a corporate rate I feel that issuing the roomat the standrd rate would have been the proper thing to do."
