Guests enjoyed their stay at this hotel. It was kept clean and offered good value in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Although the rooms were sometimes described as small, guests were typically well pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of them. They provided "everything needed" according to some and others were pleased to have a smoking room--a rarity these days.
The price was right. Guests were pleased to have so much given for such a low cost. Adding value were fast Wi-Fi, free pet stays, a simple grab and go breakfast along with free parking and local calls.
The staff were described as very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They were welcoming to guests who had brought their dogs along, and provided early check ins and extras for the rooms upon request such as a tea kettle and extra chairs.
The location was well liked. It was close to the highway and Westerner Park, and guests found good restaurants and shopping within a short walk.
There were some complaints somewhat scattered throughout the reviews.
Occasionally guests found the breakfast too basic or missed having a coffeemaker in the room for a morning cup without having to go to the lobby.
Some guests found the beds a little firm with small but thick pillows, and one guest said they did not like the bedding as it was not very cozy. Another guest missed having an extra, thicker blanket for warmth.
Other recent complaints were: the smell of smoke permeated the hallway, the AC unit was noisy, no bathroom fan, not enough electrical outlets and towels were small and not soft.
Some guests mentioned that the hotel may be difficult to spot from the highway as it is obscured by another hotel and its sign is weakly lit.
