Several guests found this hotel's location convenient and liked being close to Red Deer College (6-minute drive), shops and restaurants. A number of guests also said that the hotel was easy to access from Hwy 2 (a 2-minute drive).
Several guests described their rooms as spacious and clean (guests said things like "exceptionally clean" and spotless). Guests said that rooms were well laid-out, and that there was more than enough room to move around comfortably. Guests travelling in larger groups or with their families said that there was enough room to accommodate their needs.
Staff here provided excellent service consistently throughout the hotel. They were warm and accommodating, giving the impression that they were committed to making sure customers were happy.
There were a number of comments from guests who enjoyed the pool, many of whom mentioned the waterslide, which seemed to be a hit with families especially.
The Bad
Most of the reviews used for this analysis were positive and negative comments were few and far between. There were a few criticisms, but they did not seem reflective of overall guest impression.
A few guests were disturbed by noise coming from other guests and from housekeeping staff in the hallways.
Some guests had trouble regulating the temperature in their rooms.
There were some peripheral comments about slow and spotty Wi-Fi connections and uncomfortable beds.
