My pick for best value in Red Deer is Motel 6. This highly-rated motel offers basic accommodation with good highway access and significantly cheaper rates. Guests found it to be a newer facility with clean, modern and well-maintained rooms. Guests said the staff were very friendly and courteous and liked the location near to big-box stores and restaurants.

I chose the Radisson Hotel Red Deer because it's big on value and service. Recently renovated, it’s attracting a lot of positive attention from recent guests for its dreamy beds and spacious suites with a mini-kitchen and a separate bedroom. Guests love the staff here who are nothing short of wonderful! From breakfast to bedtime they are constantly catering to ensure guest satisfaction.

It’s located just off Hwy 2, about 8 minutes north of the city centre and only 5 minutes from Parkland Mall. ENMAX Centrium is about 11 minutes away by car.

There is a well liked restaurant and lounge on site, along with juice bar, professional fitness centre and indoor pool that is great for kids to make their splash in. Freebies include: excellent Wi-Fi, a hot breakfast buffet, parking and local calls.

I recommend the Hampton Inn as an excellent mid-range choice for Red Deer. It offers well-equipped rooms with a higher price point but includes a hot breakfast with sausages and eggs which helps to make it competitive to other hotels in the city. It also enjoys very high ratings with glowing reviews! Guests highlighted the excellent breakfast served on site, extremely clean and modern rooms with comfortable beds and great staff.
