OverviewThe Holiday Inn Lethbridge hotel is located on the east side of Mayor Magrath Drive South and just to the north of 24th Avenue South in Lethbridge, Alberta. Facilities at the hotel include a steakhouse restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel also has a bar, an elevator, free parking, a business centre, a fitness centre, a hot tub, and an indoor pool.
The property has 119 guest rooms and standard rooms at the property come with two queen beds. Additionally guest rooms offer complimentary Internet, air conditioning, flat screen televisions, work desks, microwaves, refrigerators, and coffee makers.
The 100% non-smoking property was previously a Ramada and according to a hotel Front Desk Agent, it became a Holiday Inn on June 1st, 2011. In the early part of that year the hotel underwent renovations and guest rooms were included in the updates.
The Lethbridge County Airport (YQL) is south of the hotel at a distance of about 4.4km and Lethbridge College is about 1.6km away (driving distances - Google Maps).

The GoodGuests that stayed at the Holiday Inn Lethbridge had mixed opinions about the hotel, however there was one major area that guests frequently said good things about.
Several guests were impressed with the pool facilities at the property which many guests described as a "waterpark." Multiple guests said that the park was "fun," one guest called it "fantastic," and many other guests indicated that their children loved the facilities. Many patrons felt as if the waterpark was large and one guest described it as a venue that "included two huge slides, a pool and a wave pool."
The location of the hotel was well-liked by some guests. Occasionally a guest mentioned that the airport was a quick ride while a couple other guests mentioned that there were many restaurants in the area.
The Bad
Several guests that stayed at the Holiday Inn Lethbridge did not entirely enjoy their stay and the staff seemed to be a major weak point of the hotel.
Numerous guests felt that the employees were indifferent or inattentive while on duty. One guest said that the staff did not acknowledge him and that they did "not make (him) feel important."
Another guest, who was familiar with the property when it was a Ramada, implied that the change in brand name had not been accompanied by consistent service as, according to that reviewer, the staff change from Ramada to Holiday Inn was not for the better.
Another guest felt that the staff at the hotel had an "appalling" attitude, including a member of the hotel's management. According to this guest, a manager had a "gruff attitude more suited to a quartermaster than a hotel staff."
Guests complained about other perspectives of the hotel as well. For example some guests were disappointed that the breakfast was not free and some other guests mentioned that the water was not warm in their showers.
