It seems that housekeeping leaves some of the rooms in an imperfectly cleaned state and these rooms are rented out without prior inspection. Guests complained of poorly-cleaned bathrooms and poorly-vacuumed rugs.
Some complained of very small rooms that were dated. Particulars were: old and stained bedspreads, dated furnishings, noisy fan in the bathroom, plumbing sounds, mould in tub surround and thin towels.
Once in a while, guests complained of older fruit being offered at the free breakfast.
