The GoodGuests who stayed at the Executive Royal Inn Airport hotel seemed quite happy in general with their stay. The hotel received approval from many of its guests due to the location of the property, the restaurant food, and the guest rooms. Some guests also made positive comments about the value received for the room rate.
The main reason that many guests liked the location was due to the hotel's close proximity to the Edmonton International Airport (YEG). Some guests said that being so close to the airport took the stress out of making sure that they made their flights on time. Other guests mentioned with approval that the free airport shuttle service to and from the airport ran very regularly (every 20 minutes, 24 hours per day).
Many guests also enjoyed the food that was served at the hotel's restaurant. Compliments were common with guests often saying that the food was at least good - if not great or even "amazing."

The Bad
Guests who stayed at this hotel did not issue too many complaints. However there were still a couple concerns that received some negative commentary in reviews.
Many guests thought their rooms lacked the consistent peace and quiet that was needed for a full night's sleep. A major reason for that problem according to some guests had to do with the fact that the hotel was situated near train tracks that lead into Edmonton. Several guests reported being disturbed by the rumbling trains that used those tracks and some guests specifically mentioned the piercing train horn.
Most of the other complaints about the property were scattered. Multiple guests did say that they found their room to be dimly lit and one guest said it affected his/her reading. A few other guests said that they thought that the restaurant was pricey.
Lastly, a couple of guests judged the queen beds at the hotel to be small and one of these guests speculated that it was actually a double bed.
