The Good
The majority of reviews used for this analysis were positive and focused on the rooms, the location, the value and the staff.

Many guests felt the cabins and suites were clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The decor and amenities like the fireplace, clawfoot tub and/or balcony found in some rooms were all complimented. Some thought the rooms had a romantic feel.

Some thought the grounds were well-kept and many suggested the area offered a picturesque, natural setting.

Some guests felt the suites/cabins offered good value compared to other nearby options. Although many noted the area's hotels were all fairly high priced, a few felt that this hotel was a more comfortable and relaxing option compared to more expensive accommodations in the area.

The staff received compliments from many guests. It was felt that they were welcoming, friendly and did a good job of maintaining the property. Some also noted that they were accommodating and went out of their way to provide great service.

The Bad
Although the majority of the reviews used for this analysis were positive, some negative points focused on noise and the size of the rooms.

As the hotel is located on a busy road leading to a main tourist attraction, some felt there was a lot of traffic noise during the day. It was noted by a few that it typically died down during the night.

Some guests noted that suites and cabins that were set up for double occupancy were a bit small. Similarly, suites and cabins that allowed for four guests did not offer much space or privacy. For example, one guest who shared a suite with a group of four complained that his/her travelling companions had to pass through his/her bedroom area in order to get outside. Cabins that accommodate four people do not have a separate bedroom.
