The Bad

Many guests found cleanliness inconsistencies in their cabins. Reviewers described clogged drains, crumbs on the counter-tops, holes and tears in the window screens, dead bugs on the window sills, dead mice in mouse traps, unpleasant musty smells, dust and dirt under furniture, items and garbage left behind by previous guests, and dirty kitchen appliances. Several reviewers also thought that the cabin furnishings were dated and old.
Many guests complained about the abundance of mosquitoes around the property and in the common areas, such as the restaurant. A few reviewers also complained that the "mosquito zappers" in their rooms were not in working condition. One guest said that they left the property "covered in bites", while another reviewer said that he was "eaten alive".
A few guests were disturbed in their cabins by traffic noise from the nearby highway.
A couple of reviewers described their bed as uncomfortable. A couple of guests, who were staying in older cabins, said that their TVs were older and not in proper working condition.
