The hotel's staff also received a large number of praises, with several guests describing the front desk as "pleasant," "helpful" and "friendly." Check-in was swift and easy for some guests, and a handful of guests received a room upgrade.
Breakfast is included in the price of the room. Several guests stated that the breakfast was "basic." However, these guests also felt that the muffins, toast, bagels and juice were tasty and adequate.
The Bad
The price of the hotel triggered several complaints from past guests. Many guests felt that the room wasn't worth the nightly rate and overpriced for the area. A few guest reviewers encouraged travellers to book a night with a cheaper hotel.
The refrigerator in the guest rooms also annoyed a few guests. These guests complained of rumbling or rattling sounds coming from the refrigerator. This noise was loud enough to disrupt rest and sleep.
Some guests also complained of uncomfortable beds. A few guests stated that the beds were "too high," "too firm" and situated "too close to the wall." In addition, the cleanliness of the guest rooms turned off several guests. There were complaints of used tissues under the bed, hairballs in the bathroom and some guests found dirty clothes in their dresser drawers.
